The trees grow towards each other and this creates a striking canopy of pink. Like walking through a wonderland. It’s very popular in fact there’s a Cherry Blossom Festival held annually to celebrate the blooming trees. - Dortmund: The Rombergpark botanical garden in Dortmund is home to a variety of cherry blossom trees, which bloom in April.
- Cologne: The Rheinpark in Cologne is another great place to see cherry blossoms during spring. You can take a stroll along the river and enjoy the beautiful pink and white blossoms.
- Münster: The Botanical Garden of the University of Münster is home to over 100 different species of cherry blossom trees, making it a must-visit destination for cherry blossom enthusiasts.
- Aachen: The Lousberg Park in Aachen has a beautiful cherry blossom avenue that is definitely worth a visit during spring.
- Essen-The Grugapark in Essen has a cherry blossom avenue that is a popular spot for visitors during spring. They also grow around the city.
- Düsseldorf: The city’s Hofgarten Park is a great place to see cherry blossoms in bloom during spring

I arrived in Bonn, clearly late by 2 weeks! Now the streets are lined with pink petals that have been falling from the cherry trees..

Thanks Nikki 🙂. I did manage to see a lot of amazing Peonies though – at the Botanical Garden. So the journey was fruitful or rather flowerful 😄.
