Posting this because I need to get all these videos off my phone 😅 But also the lamb is really good in Greece all the food is. I didn’t have a single bad meal. This was shot at Panormos in Fiskardo @panormosfiskardo and Kohili, Ithaca both restaurants are amazing.

Did you know there are Cherry Blossom trees grow in certain places in Germany. I even attended the #cherryblosdomfestival in Bonn back in 2016. Sadly they don’t grow in South Africa. #cherryblossom #cherryblossoms #bonn #germany

Throwback Tuesday I guess 😅 Here’s my short list of travel mistakes to avoid if you visit Greece. I visited Athens, Kefelonia and had a very short trip to Ithaca back on 2022. Sunscreen is vital since you will get badly sunburnt if you don’t reapply. There’s so many tourists who look bright red from not wearing it. Pack hood shoes which have grip. The streets are sometimes uneven, you may have to walk uphill and there’s lots of places with cobblestone streets. If you plan on visiting the Acropolis in Athens wear good shoes since the stones on top are slippery. One or two pairs of high heels are enough. I never wore the one pair of high heels I packed. Don’t skip Athens even if you are going to be island hopping. And try to spend 3 to 5 days there. If you schedule is tight at least squeeze in one day. I absolutely loved the city and it’s worth exploring. Lastly don’t flush anything down the toilet and that includes toilet paper. I know it’s strange but the pipes are usually very narrow and the plumbing is also old in most buildings.
