Happy Human Rights Day South Africa. Please note that this post might be triggering to some. Swipe to read more. Today we celebrate those who fought against apartheid. The protest in Sharpeville was organised by the PAC. The protestors were seeking a reversal of the unjust pass laws which required Black South Africans to carry a pass book in order to enter cities. Police shot at protestors killing some and injuring many. Every year Human Rights Day is a national holiday in order to remember the sacrifices of the protestors.
