On the 9th of January, the first, First Thursday event of 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting the Hisense Tevolution Museum in Cape Town, and it was so interesting and fun. This interactive and innovative museum offers a engaging way to explore the evolution of television. The museum has two levels, making it a perfect spot for technology and history lovers.

On the first floor, you’ll get to learn more about the history of television, with vintage models like those classic TVs with “bunny ear” antennas. My family had one of those with a wooden frame around the TV. The interior of the musuem is also very well planned. It looks beautiful and is very detailed.

Futuristic and Interactive Exhibits at the Hisense Tevolution Museum
The second floor of the museum features some truly amazing interactive exhibits, including a stringless electronic harp. It’s a perfect blend of technology and art, and definitely one of the highlights of my visit. I was playing around with it like a whole lot.
Hisense Innovation: Showcasing Cutting-Edge TV Technology
One of the most impressive features of the Hisense Tevolution Museum is the display of Hisense products, including the massive 110-inch UX TV, which is a true marvel of modern engineering. This stunning TV is manufactured locally in South Africa at Hisense’s Atlantis factory, making it a proud symbol of South African innovation.
